Begun in 1981, Hahnenberg Farm Market enters into its 29th year of operation in the heart of Leelanau County. Ed and Marlene Hahnenberg and their eight children have supplied the county's residents and visitors with some of the most delicious fruits and vegetables to be found in northwest lower Michigan. For a number of years, Marlene utilized its bakery facilities to produce her famous cinnamon rolls, cherry pies, and cookies.  Today, however, the emphasis is on home-grown produce, especially asparagus, sweet cherries, and apple cider. A 45 acre farm supplies the market which is located 1/2 mile southeast of the Lake Leelanau bridge at 555 S. Lake Leelanau Dr. It is open from May through December, from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm and is self-serve.
